Congratulations to the three students that represented St. Jane Frances at
the Anne Arundel County Regional Science and Engineering Fair on March 15,
2008. Their hard work and dedication paid off, as they received the
following awards:
Jonathon Lane- "Radon Gas, Silent Killer or Myth?" Winner, Institute for the Future, AACC Specialty Award; Lockheed Martin Engineering Award;
2nd Place Overall Category Award in Environmental Analysis
Megan Griffith- "Do Spices Kill Bacteria?" Winner, Anne Arundel Community College Category Award in Microbiology; Institute of Food Technologists Award, and invitation to attend the DC banquet and present project findings; 1st Place Overall Category Award in Microbiology
Rebecca Miller- "Can Adding Elements Prevent Soil Liquefaction? 1st place Overall Category Award in Environmental Management
