Grandparent’s Day

Dear Parent(s),

Grandparent’s Day will be Friday, May 9^th, 2008 starting at 8:00 am. As many of you know, this is a big day for Grandparents as well as the students. Because this is such a big event, a lot of help is needed. Please help us by lending a hand with the following:

The day before the event we need you to:

1. Help create a festive atmosphere in the hall

2. Donate baked goods (Grandparents love their sweets!)

3. *Loan large coffee makers (100 cup size)

4. *Loan carafes

* - Please be sure to mark your name on any loaned items so that we may return them to you.

The day of the event we need you to:

1. Greet the Grandparents as they enter the hall and guide them to coffee, tea, juice and cake.

2. Guide the Grandparents through the corridors and help them find the classroom of their grandchild.

3. Help place baked goods on trays and keep the coffee flowing (Grandparents love their coffee!).

4. Help clean up during and after the day.

As always, the FSA events could not be possible without the help of our dedicated board members, parents, grandparents, teachers and staff. We thank you for all that you do.
