Reading Day was GREAT!!  We hope that all of the children had fun reading and sharing their books with each other.  Please come in and see our final bulletin board.  Photos of your child are displayed.

I would like to take this opportunity to thank every child and family for all of the hard work and support that was given this year.  We made a great team – child, family and teachers.  All of the children have grown so much and they are SO ready for 2nd grade.  Please know that their successes were due to the teamwork of family and school.  We know how important your child is to you and it was evident in your daily interactions with us.  Thank you for giving us the opportunity to be a part of your child’s school life.  I will always remember our times together and can’t wait until I can walk down the aisle in church during their 8th grade graduation and wear the Reading t-shirt we made together.

Have a wonderful summer!!!

Here are some of the things we learned this year in First Grade!!

Bayley learned that the Chesapeake Bay has many kinds of animals that need the Bay.

Kaitlyn learned about long and short vowels.
