lysol on all our tables and toys each day. We are making the children clean their hands
repeatedly with baby wipes. We have gone over all the rules for coughing in our arms
instead of our hands to make sure that no germs are being spread in our classroom.
Hopefully we will avoid any sickness in our school and classroom.
HELPFUL HINT: PLEASE
REVIEW UPPER AND LOWER CASE LETTERS A THRU Z WITH YOUR CHILD. MAKE FLASH CARDS OUT OF
INDEX CARDS OR SLIPS OF PAPER. THIS WILL HELP GREATLY IN OUR READING SERIES. THE

THEM ARE HAVING A HARD TIME SO I WOULD APPRECIATE THE EXTRA ATTENTION TO THIS AT HOME.

change in our classroom jar to be donated to poor children or any special causes. We are

IMPORTANT
We follow Anne Arundel County Public Schools weather decisions. If we have
a 2 hour late opening there are no Pre-K 3 or Pre-K 4 classes . If public school is closed
due to the weather our school is closed also.
STAND TRAINING
Remember you must have this training to be able to help
in the classrooms or to attend the parties. Stand Program is now on line (St.Jane.org)
website go to Stand Training and follow directions.

STAR
STUDENTS
Everyone
has had a turn being star student at this time.
Posters
are due on Mondays and favorite book on Fridays

I found a great website for creating your own
printing trace patterns. Go to www.My-Moondrops.com Just remember they do not have to print their names
correctly on lines. The tracing page will help them in forming the letters in the correct
order, but don't worry if they don't stay on the lines. It also helps if you have them say
the letters as they print them. This repetition helps them to remember what letter comes
next.
If you would like to
practice writing names at home, here is a web site that allows you to make your own
handwriting worksheet Handwriting Practice -
Grade 1 - Kindergarten
Here is another good
website for handwriting worksheets. They come out nice and big 13/16 which makes it easier
for the children to trace. www.handwritingworksheets.com
