Mrs. Catherine Thompson Instructional
Aide
Hello, I am Mary
Carmel Buckey (Carmie). I have been a member of St.
Jane Frances Parish all of my life. In fact, I went to St Jane Frances
School.
I attended Keough
High School and went on to
graduate from Loyola College
in Baltimore.
I received my degree in Speech Pathology & Audiology with a minor in
Child Psychology. I am currently attending Notre Dame
Institute for my masters in early childhood education. I have been
married for 28 years and have four children, 2 girls and 2
boys. Three of my children have already graduated from college and
fourth is going off to college this fall. I have been the director of the
St. Jane Extended Care Program for the
last 18 years. For the last three years I have been teaching the
three year old program, which I love. I also love to cook, read and go
outside in the fresh air. This summer I traveled to Italy
with mom, three sisters and oldest daughter. I am excited to get back to
school! I love to sew, read, decorate and go to school myself. I am the
costume chair for the school’s spring play production. Thos year it is
the Wizard of OZ.
Mrs. Catherine Thompson has
been married for 13 years and has two children a boy and a girl going
into 2nd and 1st grade. Mrs. Catherine is working
on her degree in Elementary Education at Notre Dame Institute also. She
is a busy woman. Mrs. Catherine is on the board for our Family and School
Association, is a scout leader and sells Mary Kay.

Dress Code
|
|
Three Year Old Pre- K students are asked
to wear a green or white shirt and navy blue pants or shorts and
athletic shoes. Children do not have to wear the school logo
shirt. Please make sure pants fasteners are easy for little fingers
to work.
Any clothing articles that children will be taking on and off (i.e.
coats, gloves, hats) have the potential to be left behind at the end of
the day. Teachers will assist as much as possible in helping the
children keep track of their belongings. In the event of a
misplacement, please make sure your child's name or initials are
somewhere on the label. This will assist in returning the
clothing to the children.
AT THE END OF EACH MONTH THE CHILDREN WILL
HAVE A COLOR DAY. THIS IS THE DAY WHEN YOUR CHILD MAY WEAR THE COLOR OF
THE MONTH TO SCHOOL INSTEAD OF THE UNIFORM. YOU WILL RECEIVE
NOTICE ON THE COLOR OF THE MONTH BEFORE TIME.
